Just wondering if the ELT believe that SPIRIT Values really exist or even relevant now. I do not. I'm not sure they ever believed them and they used them to bamboozle the employees.

NS3k6ez-1zsz - like your thinking. Did not attend the meeting had something more important to do! Like drinking some excellent brown water while having a great cigar! But I did listen to the webcast thinking what kind of sh/t was coming out of the ELT mouths. It also came to me what excuses are they going to use next time! If there is a next time! COP is hemorrhaging money!
OP, didn't you attend the shareholders meeting? "SPIRIT" has been replaced with "NICE" (Narcissistic Incompetent Chronyistic Executives). 68% of the shareholders voted that way. But don't worry, the ELT and the BoD "will take the outcome of this vote into account".
The "Spirit Values" are toast. Got anything else?
I have very little time for SPIRIT values because they are thrown around like they mean something when really they are just window dressing.
Everyone in the company had heard the stories about the lying hypocritical ELT member. When your "leadership" acts this way, and is allowed, people and integrity values are gone.
Spirit Values? This should have been an early clue that we were doomed. How juvenile and empty. ELT, instead of holding pep rallies get your act together a run a company to make money.
A company can not have values, it has gains and losses. People have values, sometimes. But this question is a function of many years of people drinking Kool Aid, when they sell an asset does SPIRIT magically keep the people around? What do you expect from SPIRIT?
Every time I hear someone ask "how does this match our SPIRIT values?" I feel a little embarrassed inside because I know that 95% of the people in the room don't believe they are even real.
Spirit value, collaboration, mentorship, All gone forever.
They never did, the culture decends to the lowest commin denominator. When an ELT member pays for phone s-x with an account manager there is a deeper problem (no pun intended).
Just got out of a meeting without safety moment. What a travesty ? I felt as barbaric as a pirate (note PIRIT = pirate).
If you have to ask, you already know the answer.
