Will Honeywell Management EVER Learn???

“When you look at the evidence about stack ranking…. The kind of stuff that they were doing, which was essentially creating a bigger distribution between the haves and the have nots in their workforce, then firing 10% of them, it just amazed me,” Bob Sutton, a professor at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business told Quartz. “We looked at every peer reviewed study we could find, and in every one when there was a bigger difference between the pay at of the people at the bottom and the top there was worse performance.”

Honeywell management is too stupid and greedy to ever change. There, I answered my own question.

to answer your question....no "they" won't learn, however, the problem isn't the people it's the system.

Exactly. It's all about controlling labor costs at the expense of knowledge. Since HON doesn't give two sh--ting sh--s about their products, quality, reliability, customers or employees, this knowledge just becomes dead weight. The idea is to keep low wage people with no knowledge because this makes davey, Dairyass and wall street rich. HON wouldn't urinate on any of their employees if they were on fire. They're almost viewed as enemies; enemies of the bottom line. When all that matters is the stock and the bonuses of the senior leadershit team, what you end up with is Honeyhell.

They just use it as a tool for age discrimination. Put the greybeards in the elbow and then push 'em out the door. Every fault documented on your phony review. Easy peasy.
