Go to the Target & Whole Food boards too. Especially Target as a competitor to KMart.
It's interesting to then go to Walmart the Layoff to see if the sentiment is the same amongst companies when associates are worried about their jobs or upset with something. In an odd way, it actually made me feel better to read Walmart the Layoff too to see we aren't the only company with issues.
im an ASM in a sears store located in a mall .... been with this company longer then most on here have been alive
I work in a Kmart Distribution center in Ohio, I read these boards all the time. I have been here at this center since 1982, and I have never seen business this slow. We have less employees now than we did in 1982 when we 1st started. We have fewer stores than we have ever had . Morale is low, everyone is just waiting for the place to close. Very depressing.
I'm sure there are many people who are indirectly associated with sears who read this forum. Anonymous employee rants are the easiest way to get 'uncensored' information. Assuming you can sift through the garbage.
Do you mean the call centers or the IT in India?
