I heard at the Santa Clara office that an agreement and alignment has been reached between the stakeholders and final proposal will be made by end of this month. And we shall come out of bankruptcy by July end.

but what would be the deadline date? Could it be posponed over and over indefinitely?
You don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand what today's update really means. She tries to make it sound like it's all part of the normal process, but unfortunately, that's a lie. It's actually code for "this is off the rails and we have come to an impasse in the restructuring negotiations with creditors" The ultimate conclusion is C-7 liquidation. Everyone knows it, but "leadership" is going through the motions because there is nothing else to do. The creditors will force their hand in August when the extension expires and then it's game over. GTFO now while you are still getting a paycheck.
And what about the today announcement??
These comments are from frustrated employees of Avaya who wanted to get rid of corrupt management.
I doubt these very negative comments are not from employees. Seems more likely this is an attempt at creating FUD by competitors. http://www.wiglafjournal.com/selling/2005/04/fud-use-with-care/
Be positive guys. I have strong gut feelings that we will emerge out of bankruptcy very soon.
when was the last leadership update to employees?
You people are delusional and living in a make believe world that KK and company have created for you. It's all an illusion. It's is now approaching July and yet there have been zero progress toward an agreement with creditors. In fact, there is open hostility, as the creditors push back on the "leadership's" ridiculous proposal. My friends, this will not end well, I assure you. While parts of Avaya may ultimately be sold as part of the liquidation and some employees will be retained to keep it afloat, Avaya will cease to exist as a company. Week after week of cancelled "update" calls from JC and company does not bode well for the successful completion of the bankruptcy process. If you're willing to roll dice and hope for the best, I wish you good luck, but don't be misled by these fools and liars telling you that everything will be OK. It won't.
Thanks for letting us know, this is great news.
I hope the loser who wrote about Avaians being unemployed is correct. I've been wanting to take a trip to New ENGLAND for quite some time now...... Baseball time ya know...

True News. I met a fortune teller today to discuss future of Avaya. The Tarrot card clearly described a great future for Avaya and a happy ending.
Completely false. Just wishful thinking on the part of the poor soon-to-be unemployed Avayan's
