Hi. Former admissions person again. How many of you got RIF-ed? I used to feel bad for the employees, but have realized they make their own decisions. Even after two quarters, unless someone has their "head in the sand" they should understand their employer and its fraudulent way of operating. These aren't teenagers making decisions. Do your homework before investing time into your career. A for-profit college career is overrated in 2017.

I worked in admissions and quit because of the way I was being forced to recruit and creatively mislead students on the reality of what to expect at the campus and in their career prospects. But, keep thinking that the students are at fault. It doesn't matter because you will also be out of a job soon enough. I am happy I left.

No inflated career stats at our school just immature students that think they will be the next "star". They are directed to the stats but don't pay attention. You made the decision and it sounds like it wasn't a wise one. Most often this lack of assessment is not the first mistake you have made.

You made the choice and could have gone to a community college or trade school. My guess is you liked playing video games alone in your bedroom so you decided to study game art. No one forces anyone to sign up and ample resources are given to learn what you got yourself into.
