Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

When RD was rehired in May of 2014 as the messiah of brands,

Hasbro stock was around $55, now it's at $110. At that same time Mattel stock was around $40, now it's at $20.

Seriously, RD and his BS must go. He has to be held accountable...M-go, I'm sure your gut is telling you the same.

Google doesn't manufacture anything. MGO knows nothing about what it takes to imagine, design, develop, and market hardlines.

RG was just a gross human being. Guy was outdated. In addition his hires are disasters with M-Go a big question mark. The only place she succeeded was Google and everyone does well there because they have a monopoly. Mattel is no Google. It's probably closer, but below Groupon. And she lasted there a few months.

RD has completely lost his credibility with the street. They don't believe him and many in the organization that are not in his inner circle don't trust him. His hires backfired and he just doesn't have the intelligence to even lead marketing, forget be President. Not the type of leader to turnaround a sick business.

MGo fire RD? Not likely. MGo as no idea about how to make this business go. She has no experience with this industry, or anything like it. If RD leaves tomorrow she will have no idea how to replace him. She surely can't depend on her HR Dept to do an adequate job in a search like that.

With RD, all you get is empty promises. When he was at Jones, he did nothing with that business and had to leave when it was sold. But RG, the head of HR, is the real villain behind the stock drop. His arrogant approach to cutting cost by eliminating experienced and older workers, only to hire naïve and inexperienced millennials has ruined the company. He was part of the management team that promised a continued in 2016 which failed miserably.

I find it offensive he did not resign, as his mantra of accountability demands, when the Management Team failed. I personally want to see him exited in shame for the illegal activities he's been behind in his hiring and firing practices. He's another hack and needs to be hacked.

The failed investor meeting should have been the last straw. It is miserable coming to ES everyday knowing that RD is still at Mattel and the rules of accountability for him is different than all of us.
