From the EMC side. I had no problem with the survey even if they knew it came from me. Im not an a$$ kisser. I get along with the management team I work with now more over than the many ive had in the past. Coming up on 20yrs and Ive had quite a few. I work in the high end storage support. They know who works and who slacks. It has always been a very difficult environment to work in and manage. Some of the issues depending on the customer they have a direct line to an EVP. "Sponsors" is what there called. Customers spend millions for premium support. ie: no India, many cases you have to be a US citizen on US soil to work the issue and prove you a US citizen...ie: birth cert on file.. We dont exactly have a work at home schedule like most groups do. But if there is a reason to work from home my management is always willing to work with me. They come around the room each day and ask how everyones doing. If your on a tough bridge call they ask you if they want them to join to assist. Sometimes its needed but mostly no need for me. Right now in my group hands down the management is great and not looking for any heads to roll. No doubt they have a few "buffers" that can go. But thats for when the time comes and they have no choice let people go. We are already short handed and people off shift on salary can log in and just let the MOD there working and thats it to make a few extra bucks and help keep the volume down. So over all Im happy with the current situation. More changes to come Im sure. If they keep me happy or not only time will tell. Good luck to everyone

I tried for the past 4 years from EqualLogic in Nashua and I got laid off. Don't even try as survey, company, HR, ethics does give a damn. It's not confidential.
