Seeing lot of recent reorgs changes everyday. If someone can read the plan. Key folks who lick nice, are moved strategically at the right location in the right group before the layoffs in July. Feels like game of chess where the pawns will never get to live for the checkmate, which will eventually happen.

Well they have to make room for all the people they made promises to save, but actually had no room for.
The re-org is a work in progress. There will many more announcements to come. With any re-org, for some to thrive there must be many that take a dive. You pawns should be hopeful that there will be many managers and supervisors since they must have their staffs.
Since you have realized you are not part of the game, you should resign gracefully now and find a job at another company where everything happens the way you like it.
