Next week will be my last at DXC. It was my choice. It was so obviously the right choice that I would have had to be so mentally incapable of rational thought to have decided otherwise. I have seen too many lives here turned upside down. I've been to too many all employee meetings contantly hearing the same bull@hit. I was an accelerating performer who never saw a pay increase in 5 years. DXC is run by charltans, crooks, con artists, a--@oles and the most ignorant leadership at all levels I've experienced in my whole career. Leave when you can, just go. Tell people not to work here, tell the world , tell your clients how they treat you. Remember Enron, Tycho, MCI, hell even whatever HPE is anymore. This is a s@it company period.

The OP is not the only one going, I've had seven LinkedIn connection requests in 24 hours from people I left behind when I left HPE in March.
As good an indication as any that we are due another end of quarter cull from the mortally wounded dinosaur that is DXC. Problem is the intellect is so low at the top that it hasn't worked out that it's dying yet.
What are you getting for the time you put in? 10 hour days or 10 hours per week-what is your personal risk /benefit calculation. Stay or go based on that.
But if you stay at DXC, you can just work 10 hours a week like all the millennials I know. Doesn't that sound nice?
Thanks for the follow-up Re: P&G. I too was a former P&G-er who got sold to HP. We knew the business in and out and we all kept that account running like a well-oiled machine..... until HP got it's dirty hands and insane processes on it. I left the account in 2015 (was actually WFR'd but got a position within the greater HP) and by then I think the overall account had not been renewed but bits and pieces had been won. It was strange. Shortly after I left, HP was paying penalties out the wazoo and I actually got copied on an email where upper management was panicking because the overall service to the customer was so, so bad (due to so much offshoring). It was the flagship account and they ran it into the ground. Meg is on the P&G board, but DXC doesn't have a presence. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.
at @NMk0eu4-1jrl : Yes, the P&G account got renewed several years ago - and why? because most of the former P&G people remained on this account and continued to work as they were trained to do (by P&G). P&G was a brilliant school of how you need to integrate IT into a business. Most of the current HPE/DXC often know their business better then they do as some of them even come out of supply chain/plant itself. I never understood why HPE did not take more advantage of this knowledge. When EDS was taken over I was often taken as a fool, when I said, but we did this already a long time for P&G - they looked at me as if I did not understand what they were talking about and just was making nonsence. The sad this is, I did understand it very well - but they still didn't
Later-on they started to realize and also started to implement things like BPO for other accounts and selling it as a service. But they could have used them so much more.
By offshoring, and now lots of former P&G have left and will be leaving... it will be other companies who can take advantage. And sure, P&G will not have any reason anymore to remain at DXC.
Sh--e company. I got out when it was CSC, but from my spies there now the name change didn't change things (no sh--). Get out while you can and check your BP in about 3 weeks...it will be lower!
And I know for a fact there are accounts paying penalties every month due to missing contractual T&.C. This includes SLA but not limited to and yet recommendation for corrective actions/improvements from "ground troops" fallen on deaf ears -."Leaders". They hide behind the worker bees so they can survive...in the meantime, the worker bees getting pounded by the customers...it provides perfect alibi for the so called " leader" to rid off the worker bees due to "failed to meet customer's expectations"... no checks and balances..
We don't have to tell the customer anything. They see the sh-- show!
Did the P&G account ever get re-newed?
D1cks need s---ing and Samantha Bee is on the job!
Totally agreed with all comments, Samantha Bee is a "survivor" and she probably has managed to do so by getting rid of good people. If not directly then indirectly. I found on this forum and the other forum (google HPE layoff), there are a few so called "contributors" vehemently contradict opinions being voiced and fiercely protecting leadership... for what? For their own survival cause they believe their jobs will be "secured" this way.. what a joke!!
' if you go about telling all the customer about things '
Give us a break!
You mean telling people the truth is the wrong thing to do? My god is your name Whitman, Wilson or maybe even Trump? This company has been a basket case for a decade, and it's been held up by the outstanding troops on the ground who have been shafted for the same amount of time! The people in charge and the shareholders who have stripped this company will hopefully one day be brought to book!
My dear Samantha Oblivious Bee (SOB),
I'm not sure in which sandy beach you have your head buried, but it IS the company's problem. Leadership is a caustic failure and their incompetence is burning the place down, not current/former ICs. Customers and potential new hires need to know the truth... we have a moral obligation to keep people away from the toxic fumes.
Samantha Bee - do NOT burn the house - says who ?
When the house tried burning me down ISIS style, I will ensure to burn the house once I escape ...
just because you are clinging to the house feminazi style does not make me spare you...
thats how it is
Guys - when you exit, do NOT throw mud on the company - it is NOT the companies problem - it is how the company is run by legacy EDS cronies.
You are making life difficult for the rest of your ex-colleagues, if you go about telling all the customer about things - if you cannot repair it - you quit - do NOT burn the house.
Happy trails! Life on the outside is different in a wonderful way . So many possibilities. Can hope Meg gets jail time and a big a$$ fine but the best part is that you are free and can move forward .
