I know people getting laid off in NDG today. The rollout is slow. A few people from a specific site getting hit and the manager is left wondering if the rest of the group will go next. There is no Big Bang layoff this time so don't expect that. But the news will be out in the next week or so for the first wave.
The layoff is going to hit just about all groups and will be project specific. The overall target will bring our Opex/Revenue from 37% to 32% while the estimated growth in revenue is expected to cover the remaining 2%. My source is a very high level manager in DCG.
Believe what you want. This is starting.
Any one who would have attended/watched QGS of any group would have been left with no doubt that headcount actions are coming. Every group is doing it, big or small, here or there and now or soon enough.
Don't kid yourself and think all is well.
