It's make or break time. Next week we will find out what we have on the management team at the investor meeting. Time to see if the "c" team can be the "a " team and build credibility. If it doesn't impress Wall Street its time to move and make immediate changes. With our shares at $22 and Hasbro with a target above $120 it's been a failure with this group. Please don't reduce the dividend. The only reason the yield is high is because there is no vision or innovation. It's been filling the gap of not having it and at some point you need it. Good Luck.

Our A team didn't fool anyone. From Motley Fool: https://www.fool.com/investing/2017/06/15/why-shares-of-mattel-dropped-today.aspx
Shares of Mattel are now down 56% since the start of 2014. Revenue and profits have tumbled, and Mattel's digital and mobile push may take years to show results. This strategy shift comes a few months after CEO Margaret Georgiadis took the helm, but investors don't appear confident that this plan will succeed.
Where are the Activists? Only hope to tear apart this Board and Management Team.
Approaching the 10% decline. Time to announce a one-time bonus for RD and should add CS for kicks.
Another miss and lost opportunity. That was not a strategy. Marching up the relics of the past without any inspirational reason to believe was awful. It was noise with no clear direction.
Looks like investors are "pivoting" too, away from Mattel.
It's a shame that nobody thought to strengthen our Brands, accelerate emerging markets growth, strengthen innovation, work leaner, faster, smarter and improve Mattel's culture until now, but better late than never I guess ¯_(ツ)_/ ¯ .
6-9 month innovation process? chumps.
A Future-Proofed Long-Term Strategic Framework
Mattel will focus on a five-pillar strategy:
Build Mattel's Power Brands into connected 360-degree play systems and experiences.
Accelerate emerging markets growth with digital-first solutions.
Focus and strengthen its innovation pipeline.
Reshape Mattel's operations to enable the strategy – leaner, faster, smarter.
Reignite Mattel's culture and team.
Incomplete grade. Ok, you cut the dividend. An admission of failure. Same cast of characters. Still slow with many promises and no bite. Leaves the investor in the air with the when and how.
She cut it.
the true test of her leadership will be if she has the stones to cut the dividend and reinvest in production. personally i think she's going to ride out the dividend until her parachute opens and then she will m-go!
Even if the dividend was cut the current team is incapable of knowing how to use the money to grow the business making the situation even more dire. With the right management, the dividend can be maintained and the business can prosper. It's the people(with no vision and ability to execute) not the dividend that is the problem Margo!
Downward EPS revision. Bet stock drops 10%. And then more bonus money for RD. The pattern of no accountability.
Yes please, don't reduce the dividend, pay millions more to executives, consultants. Non field expert talks, just do not develop toys that people want.
