If ml wants a flatter organisation structure, are they axing the unannounced leaders? Many hpe finance directors and managers have a limited span of control.

they can't count! accounting is something finance calls HFV - Hypothetical Future Value. "If we book that, we can get bonuses"
finance another useless team - may be opportunity to reduce in that space as well - bean counters !
I've personally worked for 2 finance leaders who have left in the last month.
I haven't heard of finance leaders leaving voluntarily. I hear mainly about the lower level managers and ICs.
Finance leaders are dropping like flies. Both WFR and resignations.
