This is @hqf. Thanks for the info @tdv. I work for DCG at JF. Most of the people is on denial, but it is clear there will be a big layoff. Last quarterly meeting with DB, she recognize that KNH will be delayed one year due to problems with the 10nm process. That is end of the game for DCG. Nvidia will beat Intel. Even my SLM is openly saying that there is a big probability of KNH being cancelled.
I don't think the pkgs will be ever as good as last year.
PEG has been getting flogged with every layoff over the last several years, and yet the leadership continues to pile on projects. And then they have the gall to tell people they need to work harder. I hope those folks get good packages, but we all know deep down they are the lucky ones.
There are better jobs out there, folks.
MVE, IPG (VPG/MIG) are impacted, maybe others.

I too was impacted by ACT last year. The only technology left for this last Century company is compressed bathrooms.

I was working at Intel and been impacted by ACT. Now I work for ARM at Sophia (France) and it's the first time I see a roadmap going to 2022 !
Not true. Whole teams are being shutdown, including managers, good performers and RCGs. They get 1 or 2 months to find a new job, or get out. Whole PEG team of 60-70 at my site was gone this way.
That company is a Joke, go enjoy your newest bathroom.
