The problem with this company, one who I currently work for, is management don't listen. Communications s---s, new positions are created yet there's no posting for anyone else to apply for it. Schedules are being manipulated not because it affects oil production, it's done because someone feels the need to play us like puppets. "Do as you are told". Total garbage. I hate working here and will be gone as soon as I can, just like a dozen I know. Some real great workers were let go.

NDxlEPc-yya, you might be right about COP being a stain on one's career. I for one am changing careers after 35 plus years as an engineer in the oil business. Note, at 61 yo, I am not fully ready to retire but can and financially able too! The new opportunity will not pay what I was making but that is not the important thing to me. It is something that will keep me busy and will be interesting!
What I will do is keep my 27 shares and keep voting against the forked tongue ELT!

I am current employee and pretty sure majority are current employees with no other recourse because the ethic line is a major joke. Ethics line should be called: put yourself on the layoff list line. Our asset is swimming is cancerous despicable people do actually think thry care or want to fix that? NO or they would have a career span of 8 , 10, 12 years! You have supervisors and managers who should have hit bricks 2-6 years ago but COP wants to pay them for literally nothing. Besides if you ever worked here its a scar that runs deep so vent all you want no one else is listening anyway
