I remember when people were actually shocked that someone would voluntarily leave SLB - not anymore - next upturn will see people flocking to the exits to work for the competition - many are already doing it!

Sometime in slb dog eat something else to make manager happy
My philosophy is to stab others before they stab you. Dog eat dog remember
It's a jungle out there trust nobody
I was never shocked someone left slb, happens all the time they work hard and cut benefits and create a culture of fear of redundancy if not working extra....
The jobs market is saturated as well, everyone is picking up contractors and dropping them one month later on rather than staff I have heard as the market has people. My concern HSE of staff especially short term contractors, be careful folks.
I've been looking for a while. Quite frankly, even with very transferable skills, there isn't a green pasture out there. All those nice "jobs for the future" (EV, AI, Cloud, etc. oreven finance) are in expensive locations (West coast primarily). The damn cost of living is so high, never mind the intense competition.
Go to IT, automotive or other hitech industry...
Offshore drilling companies are on the verge of bankruptcy and non of SLB competitors are making money.
There are no jobs at the competition.
Still salty? C'mon man, it's been a year since you got laid off. Move on!
Don't think the competition is the gravy train. Service companies are all the same
