My Sears store gives no raises. If you move into a higher position, you might get one but it's not guaranteed. There are a couple of manager favorites who make more than minimum wage but that's it. Those 2 haven't been around nearly as long as some other folks who make minimum wage.

I have seen a few post of people talking about not getting a raise. I was wondering what store you are at kmart or sears. For a very long time now, for kmarts in my area anyways and I thought in all of CA that raises don't happen anymore. You get one if you move to a higher position and that's it. They tell cashiers their raise is When they get people to sign up for cards. HE told 1 woman that her raise is the moronic shirts we get every month

I was always told to get a car jack, stick it up my a-- and start cranking till I get the raise I want!!!
