Intel's failure to maintain. Technology leadership and chips now a commodity product has virtually guaranteed that "dream careers" are gone. Employees are now simple Fab monkeys trying to keep you with companies that have surpassed their intellectual prowess. Company leadership has driven a once well respected company off the proverbial cliff. Product roll outs mean nothing anymore.

x86 becomes more and more an after thought need. You buy a Pc because you need it for kids homework or doing your taxes. Everything else you can do on your phone.
Severs are critical, but cloud makes pooling it at outsourcing more cost effective. The cloud guys looking hard at ARM as it is getting more and more close and costs so much less.

Intels crown jewel which was manufacturing is a train wreck. 14nm has been matched by TSMC and Samsung. The scale of the ARMy is going to result in both kicking intel in the nuts and beating them to 10 and 7nm. Virtuous cycle lost and tipping point past.
