Anyone in the know about the UK's work force situation? Hearing rumours that they're next on the chopping block.

Factual: Some Legacy ES groups received Voluntary Redundancy request emails on Monday (MAY15th)
Speculation: Next date is June 1st.
It will be coming, I would say mangement are preoccupied with:

Office & DC Closure (Pretty much 50% of sites will go in 3 years, most in the 1st year)

Lv 5/6 Mgt appointments and support functions where there is duplication (one person in CSC and ES basically doing the same thing)
I think that will set the scene for redundancies this year. More targeted, just my gut feeling (I have no inside knowledge).
Announced where? Haven't heard a peep...
Baz- currently it's CSC staff who are getting hit. 980 odd announced, the company don't have enough staff to do both HPE and CSC in go so after CSC it'll be HPE.
