Do you really think Cars can pull in an incremental $300 mm? I get that the movie will be great, but are we really doing enough to innovate and sell toys? Isn't Spiderman coming to the shelves 2 weeks after Cars? Thoughts from anyone who has worked on that business line before much appreciated.

I heard it won't even be branded Hot Wheels as it was for the last 2 movies because SL's ego wouldn't allow for it. Talentless hack.
As for the $300M it had better make it - it needs to achieve that level to just make the deal a break-even based on the "genius" economic skills from Skid and SL. Amateurs.
This is going to be bad. With Mattel bringing Cars and Wonder Woman to a competition where Hasbro has Spider-Man, my little pony, Guardians and Star Wars, it's like showing up to a gunfight with a plastic butter knife.
Give up now and avoid embarrassing yourselves. Oh yeah, I forgot, The Toy Box show is still running.
Aw come on, where's your confidence, Bro? Has Mattel ever failed to make its numbers?
