Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Contacting attorneys

Lots of comments about people contacting attorneys. Hope everyone doing so will let the group know what becomes of any of it one way or another. Another interesting thing I've noticed, I got let go from DXC with the new DXC severance policy. Yet all my documents including my severance "check" are from HPE.

Some of the old discussion threads went into great details. In US, 1-3 years got 2 weeks this includes 1 week notification. For example, if you get notified on May 1st, your last day is May 5th. You must work during that week. Yes, they get away with murder.

Maximum is 8 weeks minus one working week. Don't know policy in Canada. Actively looking make plan b and jump ship before the job market gets saturated with former DXC candidates resulting from WFR. Rumors every other week till December 11th. Next WFR is scheduled on May 15th... best of luck

@N5urNkv

You stated: 'I got let go from DXC with the new DXC severance policy' ..folks are very curious, are you able to expand on whether the new DXC severance policy is the same/better/worse then the HPE severance policy? Was wondering about the Canada policy specifically but will take what you can offer.
