Postman job = someone who is only forwarding emails but not working on fixing the problem themselves.
In my team we have our colleague Pussina who comes to office at 8.00 am and forwards most of the emails to team members who would come in later in the day. The manager is happy since work distribution is done. Pussina is also happy as she comes to office eating hot hot "idli-wada" or "poori" every morning downloads emails, has he lunch , couple of rounds on the jogging track, 2 cups of coffee, lunch and off she goes at 5.00 pm.
Read the previous posts, several contracts will expire this year, only few might be renewed. Approx 50% headcount reduction and churning of older staff with freshers.
what do you mean by postman job ?
My manager has said (Bangaluru , India) any one who is doing postman job have the rist of loosing the job.
