@N0M8zSc-1eju - Ageism is strictly against the law. If anyone has evidence of this, they must report it as a matter of urgency.
Back in 2000 dell made the mistake of laying off 4000 people in one fell swoop and got really bad press so I imagine they will do it over a period of time, quietly.

All LOB's regardless is question. Sales Dept will be the best place to start and ask them if they are making their numbers. Anything below 80 means you will get the picture. Good luck as many folks will want the jobs that are advertised but not very many will have the jobs.

Just chiming in here: Heard the same thing too from a couple of buddies that are higher-ups.
It's going to be sizable. Many seasoned folks again, I heard.
Keep an eye opened if you're 40+ in age, and have maxed out in pay for your role. Also an indicator if your manager is starting to micromanage a little stronger, and starting to nitpick metrics.
I'm leaving by choice, hate seeing so many good people in misery.
