Just wait until staff find out how overpaid they are vs CVE, particularly those that got in thru contacts vs conventional hiring processes. Should be interesting to see HR handle these discrepancies
I bet MH & LW are throwing parties at their mansions right now. Well, again, both of them are not from Calgary, heck they are not even from Canada. Two Americans run a Canadian subsidiary, why would they care about their employees? I can totally see who or which side they would please: RL & board members down in Huston. This deal would give these two couple millions as year end bonus. Meanwhile, hundreds of employees will be jobless.
I feel some of my COP coworkers are really pathetic...up to this moment, they still believe whatever bs MH told them that everything is fine. It's already confirmed that Cenovus is going to take all the asset/operational staffs, but very few finance employees, total number is around 100. Go do the math yourself.
