DSSD D5 and XtremIO are only companies that EMC bought to upgrade their ancient technology. DSSD production stopped and XtremIO is almost dead with hatred customers and no new sales.

VMAX is 18 years old Symmetrix and Unity is relabeled old VNX.

If you are not tsmc, umc, intel, micron, or samsung, owners of the largest fabs on the planet, then you ain't sh--. long term the semiconductor guys always win.

No wonder the Chinese want to build 12" wafer fabs no matter what the cost.

I can't imagine this would be true since XtremIO is so popular among companies that want their data corrupted or lost. Wait a minute that was so 2014/2015. VMAX/Unity are now the main flash devices so maybe this does make sense. XtremIO did decrease by 64% last quarter.
