Unvested 401(K) Contributions and Employment Terminated Status

Hello All,

Do you know what may happen to my unvested 401(K) after leaving Intel?

I quit intel November 2016, but my Fidelity account still shows that I have an unvested 401(K) balance in it.

I thought that this will west after I leave. Am I off somewhere?

Any thoughts?

In the old days it depended on your years of service. As I recall it took something like 7 years to fully vest, maybe depending on age etc. There is a fidelity number you can call to ask. That would be more reliable than asking people of unknown credentials here on Layoff.com.
