RA's in S&S Renewals on Friday. They were told they were the lowest sales performers against the new metric they put in place, based on the last two years of performance. These are individuals with above average performance reviews. April 24th is their last day.

So you are measured retroactively against standards you knew nothing about - in fact, they didn't even exist at the time. This is the definition of "arbitrary."
Any IBMer who has been terminated because of the new metric should speak to the manager of the individual carrying out the firings. The system is rigged against us and we need to speak out. We need to fight to keep our jobs and if it means talking to an IBM vice president then so be it. We have nothing to lose.
One thing I learned is IBM managers never side with their employees. Ever. In order to reverse this unfair policy you need to locate the manager and then file a complaint against the individual responsible for the latest round of resource actions. It is the only realistic way to keep our jobs.
