Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

It's bad enough my job "skills" I've acquired at STT aren't good enough

For other financial institutions to hire me.

But it is highly disturbing and incredibly depressing and profoundly demoralizing when within STT you can't even get a newer better job!

I mean if my own company can't need, or doesn't think what they've provided for expertise is good enough, what makes me think I can find s new job anywhere?

It's unreal the resistance! There's no way up there's no way out!

I really feel my life and the quality of it for the future has been dramatically eroded for having started at STT just a few years ago.

You can't get sponsored for series exams, you don't make enough for an advanced degree.

I literally feel there are no options and I am in a dead end job until they dump me and then I go on welfare.

How's that for optimism!

Big red flag-precisely!

I think I should leave state street off on my resume just leave company name blank, I'd probably have more bites.

How does CEO get away with this??!

There was a time when people envied you if you said you worked for SST

Every high school and college graduate wanted for work for SST. Once you made it to SST

you were set for a good 20 to 35 year job with them.

Well that was until 1995.

Now if you say you work for SST people will say " sorry to hear that , are the rumors about the place true"

Now if you interview outside the company for another job, seeing you worked or still work at SST is

a big red flag aka do not hire this person.

why what's happening in the world in six months?

You work for CIA NSA or something?

If not then don't stoke the flames of fear and paranoia.

So the person that wants to better their life shouldn't do anything because of some apocalypse?

That's a defeatist and non-survival mentality?

Give up?

Surrender?

Me, I'll die trying to

Get out of state street

And protecting my country.

You, not sure sounds like you'll curl up into a ball.

Now that's apathy!

Actually my problem is that in six months I'll still be ther.

I feel a I'm trapped in a destructive career ending job.

Six months I dint think I can sirbive six more months.

Your problem is not being able to move up?

In 6 months you'll look back on this problem as the good old days.

Time you had a look at what's going on in the nation and world.

It's telling when a company refuses to invest in its own workers.

STT personifies corporate globalistic greed at the worst level.

There are still companies out there around the world that invest in their employees.

Too late for me too that I also picked the wrong place for a career.

Not only is hindsight 20/20 it also can make or break a life.
