Smoke - yes, I hope I don't hear how well our stock is performing against our peer group.
The townhall is just going to be for them to blow smoke..try to get everyone excited about the new management and pretty much say everything is going to be ok just like they have been doing all along. The bigger message may be in what they don't say.
Maybe they will cover the topic at the townhall on Monday. Can't wait to see what that is...no audiovisual equipment in the atrium so it will be interesting.
Exactly! The fact that upper management fails to communicate makes people believe they have no plan/vision. They are aware of the layoff rumors floating around and yet they choose not to issue any statements on the matter.. adding fuel to the fire.
Will be interesting what they're definition of "in the right direction" will be. Not many companies are still letting people go with oil close to $50.
I heard the meeting will be about the poor survey results for this year. Apparently folks don't feel like the company is "headed in the right direction"
Is the meeting for everyone or just managers? I'm out of email range right now.

Experienced Tenure in Engineering is an understatement, Engineers are good, they need good Engineering in leadership, not persons who were brought into the company because they are riding coat tales of another employee..

Major issues in leadership (specially in engineering). Let's hope the reorg in June/July reintroduces experience and tenure into management.

the name limitation doesn't necessarily apply to public known figures in the company. Mentioning of non-public employees is the true limitation. Anyone can go online and find out who those two are...but they can't go find folks at lower levels.

For this company to improve the heads of worthless/incompetent managers need to roll. Hopefully Mr. Kendall has an idea of who by now.
June 29th would make more sense
I could see that being that date, but at this point....Phil has no say and Mr. Kendall can shape this thing the way he wants it. This ship needs a new course and three months is valuable time in order to "right the ship".
Wouldn't June 30th make the most sense?
