Apple is looking into the possibility of choosing AMD Raven Ridge APU for its MacBook Pro 2017, upon its availability. Apparently, if MacBook Pro 2017 will pursue the Raven Ridge APU, the MacBook will be like a portable computer which will definitely make it a tough device to beat. Furthermore, the report said that the Raven Ridge APU is Zen-architecture based. It is sported with 4 Zen CPU cores, an AMD promontory chipset, and 11 Vega GPU.

Reports from PCAdvisor indicated that Raven Ridge was originally for 2018, but an updated roadmap leak has revealed that it will be released this year. The latest APU is expected to be available for portables on the second half of the year; while those for desktops, it will be followed early next year.

Go Red Team!

We are not worried. We will continue allow our favored groups like DO's group MIT and DB's group DCG to continue spend spend spend. At least DB's DCG is raking in the $ but what exactly does DO's MIT do to warrant such blank cheque treatment to spend spend spend!
