No VSP will be offered in TMG.
You will get a private invite to a conference room and see HR and your manager
They will have a few pieces of paper for you to sign in a nice gray evelope for you.
Won't matter you been there 6 months or more then two decades, out the door deadwood!
Get a few minutes to download your personal stuff from you laptop and office and out the door you go.
Now you need to look around and decide want to go on your terms or BKs whim?
Look around how is Intels prognosis look? TMG delivering on schedule ? X86 rocking the world? New business thrusts have a snowballs chance in hell of even being competive and make money?
You a hanger on or bold and take care of yourself ?
Take your free fruit and soda or take back control of your future
What a GPTW to work and treats you with dignity and respect!

If you have the feeling that your manager doesn't like you, has been avoiding you or otherwise is acting sheepish, start looking for another job outside of Intel. It's only a matter of time.
Management is scrambling to get reviews done as most of the focus has been on who to cut
@qju, inaccurate. Focal can be delivered until before the first pay check of April, which is around the 15th. Usually I don't get focal results until after April 1 in my department.
Annual Focal Review time starts now, they have to be delivered before the April 1 paycheck deadline. So, within the next week there should be lots of SSL4 notifications and who knows what other new criteria they managed to create. Then probably starting after April 15 or so will be the first walkouts, although sadly they may start pulling those in along with the reviews. All started last year before the first week in May. Then the VSPs (Voluntary) will continue thru June.
Please stop worrying. It is pointless. We will inform you when your time has come.
Soon very soon as debt piles up and 10nm yields stay where they are 🤔
BTW where is 10nm yields? I hear TSMC has yield and will be ramping 7nm next year😉
When ACT was first announced in April 2016, it was supposed for 2016-2017.
Last year it was announced with the quarterly results on April. Very likely to go the same way this year.
It will be swift and widespread with minimum benefits as the finances look terrible with huge debt load. Good time for others to pick up desperate talent later this and next year.
I need at least 6 months pay...
