Hi, I just saw a senior director that became senior staff. Is this legal ?

Senior staff is G9, isn't senior director G11? That would be a big demotion.

Yes there are cases where director gets downgraded to senior manager, although the level maintain and tcomp maintain, just responsibilities downgraded. Normally management who gets downgraded, they don't stay for long, they will leave soon after, replaced by someone who's a better buddy to the higher ups.
