I'm 64 and 1.5 months from retirement; actually the last month is my vacation, so in reality I have 2 weeks of work. Yesterday I got my Focal delivery. "Successful" with a big 2.4% raise and SL5. I had previously told my manager, wink wink, to not worry about giving me much since I was leaving. But in my review he made it clear that my SL5 was for performance reasons. I hadn't taken on enough extra duties over the last 6 months.
Ironically this is exactly what I wanted - the chance to get an ISP the last month of my employment and maybe get a bit of severance. Yes the 1st lousy Focal of my career bothers me. My wife looks at me like I'm nuts - "you only have 2 weeks of work. Who cares?" But it's an odd experience.
But back to my question. Does anyone genuinely have knowledge that Intel will once again ISP SL5s?
