This was part of strategy in the name of real state consolidation. Now they have clear measure of Avaya services and professional services footprints. Not only in US but at all Avaya locations around the globe this model is being followed. Now it is ready to be sold or outsourced to third party. Smart people already understood this strategy and left Avaya or services organisation. Hard time for remaining senior leaders.

This would have been a positive move 3 years ago. Avaya has persistently made a hash of its channel program. Many of the big co-del names have given up on the company and sell something competitive where investment in training is rewarded with margin. Its sad to see but a series of services leaders just kept screwing this part of the business. The latest program is the worst yet. And of course the culprits have moved on.
