Some of the groups within Avaya are going to outsource to another company. Avaya IT will be the first one to go outsource completely.....Enjoy....Announcement at the end of March...

Maybe it's a nonsense, maybe not. Especially if you know how many teams/positions have been outsourced in the past 5 years. Even from GSS Tier3 from which (just month before!!!) a director clearly stated "we won't outsource Tier3, as they are our major assets and bla-bla", which turned out to be a pure lie.
complete nonsense, if anything the opposite is true. A lot more in-sourcing on the way to save jobs

They have outsourced pretty much everything to India/Mexico. At most there are also 10-15% of the people onshore. That's not going to pull them out of chapter 11.
The company is done. Selling Networking is admission of failure really. They bought Nortel Enterprise for the sole purose of selling end-2-end and now they have to let it go (with the reason, they want to be a service company and not selling hw)....That's a complete horseshit of an excuse.
