Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Atlast Networking sold! 100 Million is too less..... what's next in the list ?

A month before I posted an article on this blog stating "Cream seperated from Milk" when PodFX was removed from networking and announced to be part of Avaya UC/CC. I predicted that Avaya networking is now ready to be lost and it happened exactly what was predicted. So not everything on this blog is false.

Whats Next???? It will be Avaya IT and Services.

Avaya IT top leadership changes are already started. Last week itself some directors and senior members where asked to leave in US, CIO/CTO change etc. Very soon Avaya IT will be completely outsourced. Fari was already asked to shift the focus and Kevin already gave a signal. In Services, Mike was asked to shift the focus in the same email by Kevin. The remaining Avaya Support Services functions like ACS/GCS will now be completely sold to HPE.

Thats the game.

Not sold ... The bidding has only just "officially" started. Not over for another 60-90 days, when the auction ends. Still many ways "core" Avaya could complicate this effort.

It's like Ford buying a division of GM to compliment their Tarus, Focus line

yes ; price does not relate to the asset value

it is unbelievable they accepted a deal for this amout !

unless; as i suspect, they will use this 'forecasted cash' as a argument to immediately receive the USD 4 millions bonus they are requesting (as compensation for their dedication to Avaya ...)

in addition

please keep in mind R and D are all third parties; so no need to sell them ....

yes ; few sales/presales and aps needed ; but since support is also mainly based of contractors ....

Extreme HAS to bring over some APS and support for intermediate future no option. If you are in Networking support good news if Sales or R and D not so much

1/2 Sales is extremely low purchase price. At that they can cut R and D milk assett and try and cut over customers. Good news but nit GOOD NEWS

So what happened to the phrase "no disaggregation"? It's obvious that all that will be left is CC and UC and of course a huge bonus for the guy who caused all of the issues. 86
