Lacks basic understanding and poor leader. I have not been impressed.

Was stupid survey Way's idea as way to communicate and REALLY LISTEN? Many of us were at SWn before him.

Is there a CEO in any industry more of an idiot and unqualified than Way? I say no.

If Swn repeats buying into a play at this time seems very puzzling and alarming due to debt and obligations we have, Debt we would incur for Permian and Oklahoma packages in area already picked over and nothing for sale for cheap. We increased debt for last big acquisiition from Chesapeake that was poorly timed and set off layoffs and not drilling and that limited available cash flow. Every article I read talks about big debt still weighing Swn down and gas prices not cooperating. Market conditions and our stock price do not indicate strength. Do you know what would management sale? Any indication if we have data rooms or packages for sale now?

I've heard that Swn is looking at lots of data rooms , it would make total sense for Swn to jump into the Permian or Oklahoma at the height of prices and all the best stuff taken

Also not sure where they would get mo ey , sell something ?

Agree that there are way too many investment opportunities in companies with way less debt and weighted way less in gas price for SWn stock to find it's way to double digits. How can one play area help SWn find it's way?

SWN stock will never see double digits again with Way in charge unless gas prices help out and cover his sins.

Way tells Board what it wants to hear...It is beyond odd that the Chair of the Board - Kehr is doing the front talking in this years ( and lasts) annual report.... So Way tells them what they want to hear, unless the Board is provoked by some outside activist investor ( unlikely ) SWN will rumble along at its current slow demise for years.... crushing the souls and careers of those riding ...unless you use it as a stone to get from 'here to there' .... which is just fine ....careers are mosaics these days....

---"Do not drink the kool aid" be an adult -- its a business transaction between employee and SWN - not a marriage

Do you mean that the rah rah speeches and smoke that Way blows doesn't qualify? He doesn't know how to put the puzzle pieces together and adjust. He hasn't made one decision of any consequence since he took over. Asset sale, nope. Finance stuff, nope. Strategy work, nope. Shareholders and employees are suffering from him. He's killing us!

Key problem after our big layoffs and poor timing of acquisitions and stewardship which steered us into HUGE debt and due dates of repayment.Does management really think we can drill our way out of this without additional layoffs and selling the company in pieces? No clear vision or path or answers supplied to us

Mr Way, shouldn't you try to better run our company and learn something while you are at it and not spend time replying to posts on sites like this? "Incredibly powerful meeting" must relate to the aftermath of something you ate at the meeting!

Incredibly powerful meeting. Company path forward finally created and managers engaged. Leadership - draws praise and hateful comments.

Stay strong!

He contributed to getting a friend fired. He got him liquored up at his table. He was just as blitzed as my friend. He was also very touchy with the ladies. It pays to be the boss sometimes.

Has any one here heard about the Christmas party in Houston? I heard a few little pieces of information about his act but not a full story. What did I miss?

No mgmt here, and I don't know the details of the lawsuit, but those kind of lawsuits are pretty common when share prices tank. I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Have you heard any news from our management about the securities fraud lawsuit filed by the SWNC depositary share holders againsr us in Harris County prior to year-end 2016.

He acts like there is a new sheriff in town but he is a rent-a cop on a good day. He has been "running" operations since he has been here. What a joke.

He was part of TOP management in 2011 and same management misread supply and demand issues, got us in DEBT and gas prices NOT strengthening.

The original post makes sense. Easy to have a better view once gas prices moved up. He needs a lot of help because he brings nothing.

After the previous response we now know that Way also spends time on here. That's what he wants people to believe as he makes the rounds. Don't believe everything you hear, especially from him.

Clique's, not clicks.....

Some of it is just the nature of oil and gas business ... assets are declining everyday and you have to replace them.... Right now not happening and SWN is liquidating. I could argue they should drill less pay a dividend and ride into the sunset-- not a bad option for shareholders.. pretty bad for employees

Mouse clicks, or heel clicks?

Actually this has been happening before him as well. Tons of clicks and people bringing in their friends they worked with at other companies.

We lack leadership and proper management. This is probably the main reason the company has failed. A lot of inappropriate clicks have been going on, especially at the top of the company.
