Thread regarding IBM layoffs

I made the right choice.

Check this out:

As I progressed through life and my 30 years at IBM, my job interests changed. IBM has so many career opportunities and remains so current, that I was able to move from engineering to project management to consulting to sales and to human resources, each job building on the skills I developed from the previous role.

And, I was able to do this within the same IBM family. Leadership development is also a great advantage, allowing me to take on exciting and challenging assignments to prepare for the next phase of my career.

I made the right choice.

I'm not sure it's worth it. I posted an honest review of my 20 years at IBM and it was removed. I thought one of the core principles of Glassdoor was that employers couldn't interfere with these reviews?!?!

This is exactly why we need real employees and ex-employees to get on glassdoor.com and post real reviews of what it's like in the hell hole called IBM. You can do it anonymously, and vote for/against the CEO. By the way, today at the shareholders meeting they will vote on a compensation package for her worth $50 million. That should upset anyone whose family was ruined by her driving the company into the ground.
