Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

The company is 30% smaller, balance sheet is weak

2 years of T and the company is 30% smaller, balance sheet is weak, there are no new products on the horizon, Cameron turned in a loss, Smith/GeoServices integration is a joke. And guess what: that big compressed spring is just not there. No wonder he stopped spinning this crap.

LOL, Cameron is a money maker not a loss.

Cameron would continue to exist without SLB.

It is SLB that wants to force Cameron's production procedures and systems onto the rest of SLB.

SLB is a service company so they are hurting right now because there are less customers in need of services right now. SLB as a contract service company gets hit first once there is a down turn in the number of wells out there.

Maybe he should do as the Smith CEO did, sell it off and retire. Perhaps some new blood can save this sinking hulk.
