"Its built & maintained on our backs....you punk. Bet u cant shoulder that...weak a-- pansy."

That is just nonsense. You (maybe) did your bit, several others worked just as hard. Maybe you don't get the other bits, or just choose not to see. And if it was such hard work for relatively little pay, maybe the union isn't so great.

But I'm not expecting much of a coherent argument. But show me wrong, go and build your own network that will do better.....

"Because that Union workforce built one helluva good, profitable, and reliable network. That's why"

And none of the success (what there is) owes anything to non-union parts (IT, planners, legal, regulatory etc) Union just had the idea and built it.

One of these spinoff companies will get saddled with the debt, go bankrupt, and then get bought up by someone else. Corporate Shenanigans 101.

Why would Google or Amazon buy a company with a large Union workforce?

Why would Google or Amazon buy a company with a large Union workforce? There better be a 6 and 6 EISP beforehand to get as many pre-2003 IBEW and CWA'ers out of the way, because otherwise I don't see anyone else wanting to buy VZ and still have to maintain a Union workforce.

In five years or less. Google or Amazon will buy Verizon. They have the cash and we are up to our balls in debt.

Almost three years as a Senior Analyst in Facilities. Always felt confident if I was very effective, I would survive. Wrong!! Thirty percent of us are RIF'd with compliments. Shareholders said to the board, no decent sales revenue to report.... start cutting to show decreases on the expense side. Basically, the new level playing field "unlimited data" has set a new benchmark in the industry. Kicked Verizon's butt! Big changes coming to Uncle V.
