Intel reports significant cuts in Rio Rancho workforce

Well well, is Intel (Brian Krzanich) keeping his word and not reducing the Intel workforce or is BK simply continuing the deception and lies so common throughout Intel?

According to the article, " Intel states in its report that the Rio Rancho facility is one of the company’s high-volume manufacturing operations and that it continues to invest in and support. "

What a total joke / no so funny lie. Intel is so full of crap. And to top things off, Brian Krzanich just got a 30% pay increase... For what you would have to ask. Thoughts?

Years ago in the 286 386 and 486 and early Pentium years the hole in the wall desert location was a flagship.

Intel has for the past few years been closing site after site as their misguided strategy of riding a monopoly thru arrogance and denial of competion is now coming to haunt them. No where to hide from the invading ARMy

The only reason Ireland, Israel and China fabs exist is due to huge government incentives and tax benefits, and little to do with any real strategy.

As x86 monopoly and sales fall back to irrelevancy as the ARMy rise, I encourage you to research Samsung and TSMC rise and their factory network and manufacturing approach to appreciate how phucked intel and what their next ACTs can only be 😉

Site closure is imminent... Too bad for Rio Rancho. The information about this site closure has been out for a while. Managers at the site have been leaving and transferring to different Intel sites for a number of years now. Why does Intel continue to perpetuate lies about jobs and increasing manufacturing...
