Don't be ignorant, Dell took on tremendous debt, layoffs are step one on the pay back plan, Step Two sell of divisions that are redundant and/or don't fit and are a cash play. Next Issue more bonds or even have a go public (again) plan. Final Merger with a competitor.

Got out early, Back to school and have a new career in Health Care.

Good luck all, don't forget to take care of your self and family and don't buy the keep your head down and toe the line and you will be alright, There is no loyalty in Corporate America.

Some middle management were given the opportunity to move on before the 1st of the year and many took the "retirement package." The rest are safe because they throw their teams under the bus.

In matrix management at Legacy Dell storage, no manager/director will ever be laid off. Falsifying team work and false status to higher above is what we do best at NDC/MDC. Three years of no work and 700 employees are wondering, what's next.

I've personally seen many managers and directors, all over 40 YO, of course, get the boot. They don't disseminate.

Dell EMC lost some directors and managers and is still continuing to layoff. Anyone over 45 needs a game plan.

It's a big club, you ain't in it. If want to find out how layered bureaucracy works Dell is the place.

Directors, Managers,ORSD's layered to no end. No one with knowledge in these positions. Just yak yak yak and repeating like parrots the message from Bill R and Mario H
