Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Does anyone know the rules about leaving target to work for a vendor? Or competitor? Hanging on by a thread and keeping my options open...

Some state laws require vacation to be paid.

There is no longer any vacation pay out. Any unused vacation time is lost. If going to a vendor, you cannot rep to Target or support the Target business at your new company for a period of 2 years without approval.

You do not receive payment or vacation buyout.

if you have to ask you're low enough that you don't have any restrictions on you. the thing that may happen is that you may get walked out immediately after telling your manager that you're going to a vendor/competitor but you will still be paid for 2 weeks and any vacation buy out.
