H1B Visa premium processing suspended by Trump administration

One step closer to clearing out the swamp:

If only the president could get rid of the collaborators in our offices just as easily.

Companies can claim that h1b is for knowledge, not cost. But they cannot justify outsourcing with the same claim, include the h1b visa issued to facilitate the outstanding. Outsource company should get zero h1b visa, period. All the h1b visa issued should be revoked, plus h1b visa abuse investigation.

Hardy har har..

How many Genpact and TCS peeps are posting here? To further insult the American workers they've stolen jobs from.

I guess McK leaders will need to rapidly expedite their offshoring plans.

End of Fiscal year=Layoffs & Outsourcing

Wow. What a bunch of whiners. If you don't like your company or your job, find another. Getting rid of h1b will only accelerate more offshoring. Furthermore, I've worked with some really good people and programmers on h1b, at McK and elsewhere. Yeah, not all of them are great, but that's more about lack of experience than anything. If Mck is guilty of anything, it is for repeatedly contracting for workers barely out of college.

@1xgl #h1b is all about cost, not knowledge. Try posting those jobs for everyone, 10 americans will apply for each opening

@M80hefv-1xgl: We have hundreds of these 'knowledge' workers in EIS now. We've been waiting for them to demonstrate their actual worth for the last year. These visas are nothing but a way for corporations to hire far less-qualified (and the are definitely less qualified) workers to undermine more-qualified American workers. It's just another way to sacrifice your workers in the name of greater profit. Unfortunately, it also results in products that become more unusable and a greater threat to patient safety than ever before.

Trump needs to put a solid hold on the entire H1B program and also penalize corporations that are offshoring American jobs to India. It's OUR technology, OUR software applications and OUR jobs on the line.

You people are insane if you think we need fewer knowledge workers in the U.S. All this move will do is slow down our economy.

Amen! Hallelujah! Best move by President Trump. Corporations need to stop replacing American Workers with H1B Visa Peeps. They say it's done because they need skilled workers. Yeah Right! We totally believe that.

Hey McKesson: Why aren't you outsourcing your top executive positions to India? Better yet, replace the CEO with a cheaper H1B Visa.

I hope this sends a strong message to companies that have been giving the American Worker the shaft for years, including McKesson and thier offshore practices.
