Things have been real quiet lately, with the merger and the new administration, changes must be coming. Any updates out there on any pending layoffs?

Check the Cigna board, rather than wasting people's time (more than once) to read your post when it's not about Anthem...
Does anyone know if Cigna had or will have layoffs as well? Very quiet at Cigna as well and no news being published on either company.
Cuts were made on Thursday 3/2 in some areas. We had a mandatory meeting where we were told of the cuts. No early retirement offers for those people who met the minimum age and length of service such as the IT folks were offered, though; just the std severance based on years of service. IT staff who were offered the early retirement package will find out on 3/17 when they can retire.
Changes are already underway. We will be hearing about them shortly. But then again...changes are always underway.
I have not heard anything but it's obvious a cut is coming. Just a matter of timing. I think the cuts will be pretty significant.
We been told by management to keep our options open and we won't know anything else definite until March 2017.
