Can someone please tell me why we need a recruiter and a trainer. Them are just 2 district position we really don't need also why do we need market people who fly from place to place just setting up displays. I call them Sears foo foo era. Don't need them.

Well I was told today my job has been eliminated... Footwear lead.. Good luck Sears you are going to need it.

Our store has a shoparazzi and the other day that person asked me where something was in the store. Pathetic....
Our people have three hours a week and that is just to unload the truck. Today a whole morning crew refused to come in for three hours and they quit. I hear the night crew may do the same. Then you have a whole store run by three to four people and none know how to do anything
Do not train the new people. Or train them incorrectly.
Why would you train the person who will take your job OR be used as a threat against you by Sears? In other words Do this or else I'll schedule the new guy more hours and cuts your and make your life miserable. Screw the new people.
The foo foo team was in a power struggle in the company years ago, which they won.
As things wind down, their membership gets to ride the merry go round all the way to the end , and order the plywood to board up the entrances when it's all over.
I've thought the same myself. Why 2 paid positions for a company that is cutting hours for existing staff? Recruiter/Trainer could easily be one job.
It makes me furious that current associates are losing hours to the point of ridiculousness for an already low paying job but new associates are being hired.
Some of our cashiers are getting 4 hours a week. These are folks making credit and SYW, not calling out, etc. if you're wondering ... But new people are being hired??? For what?
