Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Jelly of the Month Club

When I first heard about the new "enhancement" to our discount I couldn't help but think about Clark Griswold's reaction to being enrolled in the Jelly of the Month Club.

I think that was the defining moment for me. The moment when I realized they really didn't care about the little people. The people that actually go out and deal with the complaints, the old equipment, no raises, the empty shelves, trying to continue selling when everyone is hearing about all the store closings, the horrible delivery, signing people up for a program they don't want to sign up for....etc...

Then they insult our intelligence by saying that taking the one small thing we had left away was a good thing.

This company is Joy s---ers. And the members can and will sense it going forward.

I have a Jelly Set ( leftover christmas stuff) that I would be too embarrassed to give to anyone. It is something that you find @ cra bar where we eat @ often. To be seen shopping @ Kmart would be Ugly and then some. those clothes are NO. everything else is CHEAP. OR No Basics. Things you can get at the local dollar type store...No, not at Kmart you Can not, only Ugly Stuff from years ago. (talking about clothes) and the rest of the Basics are not on the shelf anymore. If you are into Ugly go to Kmart. All the most affluent shoplifters do. Maybe word has spread that there is nobody working there anymore.
