UK and Ireland MD jumps ship, unable to face the limited future at Avaya He says he wants to spend more time with his family

Steve Rafferty MD UK & Ireland has been in Captain for 8 mouths and has decided to deserted the good ship Avaya for personal reasons :-) (sound Familiar )

Another fine example of the appalling management at Avaya, motto " When the tough gets going Jump ship"

Managed to wait for his Bonus though,

Good Luck you AH

His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

The UK MD position is a bit of a poisoned chalice, it sounds posh, but it's not really much more than an RSL position and the company doesn't view it as particularly powerful. Bit harsh to call him AH.

Very easy for someone else to leave too, but the aging UK AM and SE employees are perpetually hanging on for their severance, and unwilling to sell the new stuff.

Don't blame him for jumping ship. The politics in Avaya are particularly tricky at the moment. Daisy is a pretty good place to be going to, at least their challenges will be interesting.

Wish him well!
