So I noticed they keep sending people to the middle east for the last few years with ridiculous schedules but paying them like they are just in the US. No new contract or hazard pay. Is this against company policy?

Baker contracts mean nothing on their end . You take the job with all these promises and possibly turned down something else then all the terms are total b---s---. So ya it matters.
your doing the same job as someone with a rotator contract and making a lot less with a worse schedule that was not remotely specified with your contract. Not sure why they write them they are not worth the effort. They should just say your f---ed , sign here to sell your soul
Hey how much you get pay in middl east? Maybe not much baker boi
Nobody giv sh-- about baker in Middle East.
Why would it be illegal or against company policy? If an employee agrees to whatever terms are offered then it is a done deal, policy or no. Hazard pay? For what? The employee always has a choice in the US. You can decline the offer and get terminated. Alternately, you can make your own choice in advance and look for a better job outside the oilfield before you are 'forced' to do something you don't want by BHI.
I did it for years. If wasn't until I got home n the IRP. That I had problems. Got a nice tax break too
Yes this is against company policy, but who gives a flying fcuk? HR ?
Anyone who has to walk through the Stoneywood foyer deserves hazard pay
