It's ironic to come across this, you asked in layoffs would come in February? Humana employee here and it did. 600 so far and them impression is more to come. Something is up with the blocked merger.

I take the negative comment by anonymous as a personel insult as I was a hard working dedicated employee of over 15 years who was given little choice but to take the package. There are plenty of sandbaggers remaining, lets see how the denial of the Aetna Humana merger affects the remsining grunts.
not a chance! There will be no more layoffs. The dead weight has been paid to leave and just the crack team is left.
President Elect Trump has recently made the comment that health insurance deductibles are far to high. If this is a an area his administration plans on restructuring, I would imagine this will greatly impact the probability of insurance companies. I would expect these companies to continue to cut costs to stay profitable. You can expect cost cutting measures to be ongoing, not limited to any month or year.

That would be nice. Need to move on from Aetna. Just do it and get it out the way. My opinion.
