Thread regarding Open Text Corp. layoffs

From what I've read on sites like Glassdoor they seem to cheat employees out of their bonuses. Any truth to that?

Getting acquired by OpenText and it seems like many have commented about no bonus or getting cheated out of their bonus. Anyone have experience with this?

Lots of comments from the uninformed. OpenText generally keeps or improves compensation at acquisitions, options excepted.

Yes!!! I've worked for OpenText for 7 years. They have learned how to screw us Seven ways to Sunday. I can't even begin to tell you how they manage to get out of paying commissions, bonuses and yearly increases.......

Completely in agreement with the reply above. The worst thing that can happen to a company where employees are treated like people and not a livestock is being acquired by OT - they will lay half of the company off and milk the product and customer base. Everyone knows OpenText is a company where products go to die. The subpar benefit package is getting more and more expensive, your performance reviews no matter how stellar your performance is will be at 3 out of 5 just so you don't get a promotion and/or a raise.

When GXS was acquired they basically told us the stock options many of us had been given in lieu of a bonus were underwater so yes it is true. They have also cut our health benefits each year so we in effect get a negative raise
